Ingredients for The Easiest Banana Bread – 1/4 cup (56 grams) unsalted butter (4 tablespoons or 1/2 stick) – 3 overripe bananas (the brown, the better) – 1/3 cup (66 grams) granulated sugar – 1/3 cup (66 grams) brown sugar (packaged) – 2 large eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/4 cup (56 grams) plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream) – 1/2 tsp salt – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 and 1/2 cups (188 grams) flour – 1 Tbsp (11 g) turbinado sugar (or additional granulated sugar, for sprinkling over batter)

If you want to add chocolate chips or chopped nuts, fold in about 1/2 cup of them just before scraping the batter into the pan.
