The Easiest Banana Bread

The easiest banana bread recipe ever made uses only one bowl, no mixer. The top has an extra sprinkling of sugar before baking for a caramelized crust.

It has a plush, soft texture made perfectly using melted butter, Greek yogurt, and a little brown sugar

one bowl, no mixer, no weird ingredients, pure banana flavor, my favorite recipe for plush banana bread is also the easiest banana bread recipe.

Ingredients for The Easiest Banana Bread – 1/4 cup (56 grams) unsalted butter (4 tablespoons or 1/2 stick) – 3 overripe bananas (the brown, the better) – 1/3 cup (66 grams) granulated sugar – 1/3 cup (66 grams) brown sugar (packaged) – 2 large eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/4 cup (56 grams) plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream) – 1/2 tsp salt – 1 tsp baking soda – 1 and 1/2 cups (188 grams) flour – 1 Tbsp (11 g) turbinado sugar (or additional granulated sugar, for sprinkling over batter)

Servings - 12 slices, Prep time - 10 mins, Cooking time - 50 mins, Type - Bread.

If you want to add chocolate chips or chopped nuts, fold in about 1/2 cup of them just before scraping the batter into the pan.

Banana bread will keep well wrapped in foil on the counter for up to 3 days. It will keep for a week in the fridge to 3 months in the freezer

It's better to wrap these in individual slices of foil and put them in the freezer in a freezer storage bag to defrost whenever something is needed
