Sometimes I see something goofy, like a mysterious black object in a Perseverance rover photograph from Sunday.

A humorous interpretation of the object, such as an ant or a plastic bag, was offered during a Reddit discussion of the image in a Mars-related group.

Typically, they are only perceptible when the camera captures photographs of the sky or another flat radiometric surface.
