Ingredients for Soft Molasses Cookies – 2 cups (250 grams) all purpose flour – 2 tsp baking soda – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1 tsp grated ginger – tsp ground clove – tsp salt – pinch cardamom (optional) – cup (113 g) unsalted butter melted and cooled – cup (67 grams) granulated sugar – cup (50 grams) packed brown sugar – 1 large egg – Cup (80 ml) molasses – cup (50 g) coarse or granulated sugar for rolling out cookies
