Ricotta cheese makes the most of light, fluffy pancakes, with dark chocolate chips in these orange ricotta chocolate chip pancakes set with a delicate orange flavor.
The orange flavor was assertive. Dark chocolate chips totally set it off. The texture of the ricotta was really light and fluffy.
While making this, a tawa or wok is heated on medium heat, and pancakes are made on it by greasing it with butter.
Ingredients for Orange Ricotta Chocolate Chip Pancakes – 1 cup flour – 1 tsp baking powder – 1/2 tsp baking soda – 1/4 tsp salt – 2 large eggs separating the white and yolk – 1 cup ricotta cheese – 1/4 cup milk whichever you prefer, dairy or non-dairy – Orange peel before extracting orange juice, it's easy – 1/2 cup fresh orange juice from about 1 1/2 oranges – 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Leftover pancakes can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days or in the freezer for longer storage.
Personal preference for these is to wrap individual portions, i.e. 2-3 pancakes, in plastic wrap, then store them in freezer storage bags in the freezer.
Then reheat these in the microwave on busy mornings when you want a special breakfast.
