This honey almond granola is subtly sweet, crunchy, gluten-free, and the perfect small-batch homemade granola recipe to keep on hand
Honestly, once you have homemade granola you just can't go back to store bought
Plus, you can control the ingredients and sugar levels, which is important because most store-bought granolas are basically full of sugar
Ingredients for Honey Almond Granola – 1/4 cup (50 grams) olive oil (or melted coconut oil) – 1/4 cup (84 grams) honey – 1/2 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/4 tsp cinnamon – 1/8 tsp ginger – 1 and 1/2 cups (150 g) old-fashioned (rolled) oats – 1/2 cup (60 grams) chopped almonds – 1/4 cup (12 grams) unsweetened shredded or flaked coconut
Servings - 2 cups, Preparation time - 5 mins, Cooking time - 25 mins, Type - Granola
You can double the recipe for a higher yield. You may need to use two cookie sheets, or a single large cookie sheet/jelly roll pan
Honey Almond Granola is a small batch recipe and is my new favorite, especially because it fits in a mason jar
It's a crunchy, grain-like granola originally intended to be eaten by a handful of people
