Elon Musk Reactivates Donald Trump's Twitter Account

After polling users on Twitter, Musk reactivated Trump's account. This platform too booted Trump after the January 6 Capitol Hill riots.

Which opened the door for the controversial politician to regain his social media megaphone.

Musk polled users on Twitter about whether Trump should be allowed back on stage.

The final results of that poll showed 51.8% in favor of reinstating Trump and 48.2% against.

Musk tweeted. "Trump will be reinstated." An account with the familiar name @realDonaldTrump appeared on the site Saturday.

Twitter, along with other social networks, removed Trump from its service in January 2021

There was concern that Trump could incite more violence after the January 6 Capitol Hill riots.

The billionaire kept changing his mind about whether he wanted to buy the social network, but Twitter sued him to block the deal.

After taking over Twitter, Musk said he would create a content moderation council with diverse perspectives.
