Ingredients for Peanut Butter Blondies – 6 tablespoons unsalted butter – 3/4 cup brown sugar – 1/2 cup peanut butter – 1 large egg – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 3/4 cup flour – 1/2 tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp salt – chopped peanuts (optional)

Traditional or natural peanut butter both work. I tried it both ways, slightly liking the texture of the whites when using traditional peanut butter, but both are delicious.
Bars can be stored, covered, at room temperature for up to 3 days. These are baked for 22-24 minutes, until the edges are brown and the bars look slightly puffed.
